Walters State College, ranked 16th in the country for use of technology in teaching, has chosen Global Resort Systems software to be used in their Hospitality Management classes. Students will be trained not only on proper hotel management procedures and operations, but also in proper use of the Global Resort Systems hospitality management suite. According to Walters State president Dr. Jack E. Campbell, “This ranking is a credit to the vision, hard work and technical expertise of the college’s splendid information and educational technology departments.” Walters State College is located in Sevierville, TN.
Sand Hills Community College has chosen Global Resort Systems software to be used in their Hospitality Management classes. Students will be trained not only on proper hotel management procedures and operations, but also in proper use of the Global Resort Systems hospitality management suite. Instructor Don Calfe stopped by our booth at the Myrtle Beach Motel Supplier Show in February 2002. Since, Don has attended training and installed the system at the college.. The college is erecting a building specifically for the hospitality department. At that point, Sand Hills will be the beta site for our new Restaurant Management Module slated for 2004 release. Sand Hills Sand Hills Community College is located in Pinehurst, NC. Their web site is normandy.sandhills.cc.nc.us. Sand Hills joins Walters State College in using our product in the education setting. |
